-Pyramids were definitely painted, how do you see them?

They have known for years that the pyramids were actually painted in bright colors.  I think most people see them as subtle and stand for quiet elegance.  So wrong…

I have actually seen recreations with quotes and text on the pyramids. I know they’ve found ancient red paint too because I read about in Archeology Magazine.

Same with the ancient Roman and Greek art.  I think Baroque comes to mind.   Getty Museum “The Color of Life”

Yes we’ve been seeing it wrong but isn’t that always how it is in everyday life?  We see things from our own filters that paint it bright, subtle and/or anywhere in between.
